No idea what you have, so my answer is for OS X version 10.8.5.

“I would like something like tinder”

“Tinder is a location-based dating and social discovery service application (using Facebook) that facilitates communication between mutually interested users, allowing matched users to chat.”

I just cannot follow you for asking about a dating / chat room app for how to remove files.

“maybe an app that will look through my pics and finds the ones i have multiple times and i get to tap the ones i can keep.”

More likely, the app will find duplicates and let you trash the extras by selecting them and dragging to the trash. Try any of the apps at the links below.

Are all your pics in the same folder? If so, no way to distinguish duplicates, since they can’t have the same file name. If you have duplicates distributed in multiple folders, you can simply use Finder to search, and drag the duplicates to the trash. It will go something like this….

– In a Finder window toolbar, click the search field to the right.
– Type .jpg (if all your photo files are JPEGs).
– For the four View options at toolbar left, choose “As columns” (looks like a jail cell window).
– Scroll down the results list to see duplicate file names, and trash any you don’t need.
