First you may try to download the drivers from Dell website and install it in Windows Vista compatibility mode by following the steps.

Right click the downloaded driver folder and select properties. In Properties select Compatibility and Check the option Run this program in Compatibility mode for and select Windows Vista.

You may also enable the hidden device, enable the right speakers. And check whether you can resolve the issue.

1. Open the Control Panel.

2. Click on the Sound icon.

3. Click on the Playback Tab.

4. Right click on a empty area and click on Show Disabled Devices.

5. You will now see the disabled audio devices with the arrow pointing down on them.

6. Right click on the disabled audio device which you want to enable and Enable it .

7. Click on the Recording tab.

8. Right click on a empty area and click on Show Disabled Devices.

9. You will now see the disabled audio devices with the arrow pointing down on them.

10. Right click on the disabled audio device which you want to enable and Enable it .
