· Was it working before?
· Were there any changes made to the computer prior to this issue?
Step 1: Verify that the Scanner is detected by the Computer.
If the scanner is recognized by the computer, it will be displayed under “Imaging devices” in Device Manager.
a. On the Start menu, right-click My Computer, then select Properties.
b. On the Hardware tab, select Device Manager.
Step 2: Run the following Microsoft Fix it:
