Car should still be under factory warranty, so they probably have sent it to the local Mitsubishi service agent, to hopefully be repaired under warranty.

Now it will be up to them to decide if it’s a warranty problem. It should be, but if they find it’s been abused (before you bought it) this could be a problem. In that case you need to work out the situation with the Dealer you bought it from.
