I am not aware of any state that requires a potential employer to tell a candidate why they weren’t selected for a position. I can understand your desire to improve yourself to make your chances of success better in the future, but you may have to find another way to accomplish that. A potential employer who shares the reason for non-selection for a position may open themselves up to any number of issues, so most won’t do it.
